This is part of the big guess game competition Flinn is running so the scores are kept for that one. There is no big leaderboard just for this one though.

I'm a bit stuck on your last one btw, although I haven't really had the time to dive extremely deep. If I had to guess I'd go with something from antiquity, perhaps in France so maybe something Celtic but I don't really know.

I would tip on a celtic thermal spring sanctuary for Grannus or Bormo, too.

The local understanding is that the things are from classical antiquity but not from Celts, although I am not sure if that is a fact or just an assumption.

They are said to be Roman. Why Romans would build ones in the middle of nowhere is beyond me.

Okay, I could just reveal the answer but then it would be hard to determine who is to post the next item. The things in question are supposedly Roman wells.

They are Roman wells of Rajčica, or Bunari Rimski Rajčice, in Croatia. Please take the initiative, any of you.

No, though probably inspired by it.

Willemstad on the island of Curaçao in the Dutch Caribbean. Together with the architecture, the tropical-looking tree to the right made me think of the Dutch Caribbean right away, and Curaçao was pretty much the first place I looked.
