Seriously, loli, can you stop knowing all the places I've been to? Have you been following me around on holidays the past 20 years?

I can heartily recommend the Italian Wars mod by Aneirin.
In exile, but still under the patronage of the impeccable Aikanár, alongside Aneirin. Humble patron of Cyclops, Frunk and Abdülmecid I.
That place is unreal. I was trying to locate it earlier today on my lunch break and now again with no luck. It looks way too out of place to be natural and way too big to be constructed by man. Wow.
I just googled "biggest dune" and this one popped up among the images.
Damn, loli. I tried countless variations of "great sand dune in the middle of woodlands" and the like and got nowhere near!
Less is more mate.

It is. Probably shouldn't use current/recent Windows 10 splash screens for this game but I had no inspiritation so I went for it.
The Nürburg in the beautiful Eifel?
Cause tomorrow is a brand-new day
And tomorrow you'll be on your way
Don't give a damn about what other people say
Because tomorrow is a brand-new day
I have seen this before, its quite familiar... Maybe from Autobahn in Thuringia or Saxony...

Its probably Hessia. But i only know the Burg Frankenstein near Darmstadt.^^
Buut it could be as it reminds me on Eifel the region around Gießen...
Burg Gleiberg?

It's Burg Vetzberg, looked at from Burg Gleiberg, Middle Hesse, Germany, European Union, Planet Earth, Milky Way Galaxy. Domus Dulcis Domus.
You sucked the blood out of me. And a +rep. Your turn.
Walpurgisnacht is great there, btw. Sadly not this year.
There will be other nights, when we can jump through the fire.
Thank you.
The next picture is from a municipality, which was formed from three former independent, smaller communities, in one of them my mother grown up. The childhood's place of my mother is quite famous nowadays ( no, not because of my mother ^^) as a massacre happens there 7000 years ago.
The name of the old castle?

That's the Alte Büdesheimer Schloss near Kilianstädten. Searching for places with castles AND neolithic massacre sites did the job.
Speaking of the massacre site of Kilianstädten, thanks for bringing that up. Here is a highly interesting article about it. I didn't know there was systematic warfare as early as the late linear ceramic culture (Linearbandkeramik - LBK) in central Europe (had always assumed warfare was largely an "invention" of the bronze age). And the systematic patterns found in the mass grave (absence of young women and teenagers in general probably due to abduction or flight, systematic mutilation of lower legs, injuries of the left part of the skull from typical right-handed adze blows) do paint a gruesome picture of late LBK with regular annihiliations of entire communities (30 - 40 people).

Correctomundo. Its the Alte Büdesheimer Schloss near Kilianstädten.
I found that archaeological investigation interesting too, as it's destroying the romantic picture from the first peaceful farmers in Europe.
It seems massive violence was a thing in Europe before the "warlike" Indo-Europeans migrated to Europe.
Your turn.

Righto. Instead of one outside view this time you're given three inside views, which are far more striking than the outer shell in this case:

So the first room seems to be in a Greco-Roman-inspired style, the second I guess is inspired by Arabic or Persian cultures and the third some grand American style, definitely not my forte but I guess maybe some 50's or 60's modernistic style. I assume it's either an exposition of the various interior design styles or a place which has these different themes as a gimmick.
I am assuming that it is a hotel with the bedroom and an unusually spacious meeting room, but I cannot find anything with that assumption. Of course it could be something else as well where staying over night might be expected, such as a palace.
