    Entebbe airport, Uganda, located on a peninsula in Lake Victoria. Never heard of the airport. The reddish soil made me think of more tropical regions and Lake Victoria is probably by far the most famous lake in that region.

    Very impressive. I looked around Lake Victoria as well as I had a hunch, but apparently gave up too quickly. Hats off for Loli.

    That's the statue of Anna Maria Hendrik. nicknamed 'Antje van de Statie', in Weert. Those things she carries in her left hand are flans (vlaaien in Dutch), the pastry Limburg is famous for in the Netherland, though carrying a stack of them is something I haven't seen.
