I just had ten units of Sentinels of the Woodland Realms open up on him for a few volleys; problem solved.

I did it the old fashioned way: CHARGE!

Six General Units charging him from all directions. Some of those guys only had 3 or 4 men left in their group, but the Witch-King was gone.

Using stakes in a gate is an exploit, and the AI isn't programmed to handle it.

everything is an exploit...
AI is just very dumb and there is so many things you can use against it, that if you don't use exploits, you can't play the game

Well...i dont think its exploit becuz everyone could do it.Not too hard to put stakes on a gate and let the enemy charge right into it.

The mounted generals do seem to like to charge. That's a M2TW thing though. I killed him with crossbowmen before he even got to my army =/

killed by some random 10 starts golden-value bodyguards general. and some silver-value bodyguards sub-generals covering the flanks so he cant run out.
