Is it possible to change the spy and assassin movies or are they hard coded?

the video files are in the data/fmv order
you will need a player that can play and convert .bik files, eg the bink player

if you want to change the spy video just overwrite it

good luck making one tho, you can't do better than that since there are no LOTR'ish scenes in any movie or any other game of asassination, so unless you make you own 3d movie, kinnda let it go

the movies you see in TATW are made by combining a lot of cutscenes, not made manually, those 3d movies you saw in M2 ( princess marrying, asassination, spy) are all manually made

What he said. All the movies,event pictures,portraits basically all graphics in M2TW are made with 3d rendering programs, copyright reasons most likely.
That's why you don't see a lot of variety. Because they're damned hard to make and take a lot of time.

Maybe using movie scenes?
but it may be illegal...
for assassinations i would say smeagol murdering deagol scene.
for marry, well, thats quite obvious.
for spy, maybe sam entering Cirith Ungol...
