    Default Edit default general names?

Ok, how do I do that? I don't know where to look, and witch file to modify, but my guess is it is as simple as changing a few lines in some txt files.

So, how do I change/edit names for generals and maybe captains. (Probably add more names to the list.) I want to do that to LTC mod.

Any help will be rewarded with +rep.

Please do not write here, send me a P-message or post in my profile.
    Thanks!!

The reason why we post here, is that others get to know the solutions as well.

And you will have to add names to data\descr_names.txt in the proper faction segment and add those names to the data\text\names.txt file as well.

There is no names.txt file. There is only names.txt.strings.bin file. (It's Lands to conquer mod...)

But there is descr_names_lookup.txt in Data folder. Maybe that's the file?

You need this StringBin Converter. It runs with Python 2.6
Chances are you have python installed. You might have to associate the py file with python.exe
If it doesn't work, then you might have python 3.1 or higher and the converter will not work with it.
