Can't get historical battles to work

I'm not a modder or anything similar... i just like playing rtw mods. Nevertheless, due to the long time modder take to make improvements to their mods, i have recently decided to make some modifications on my own... and the main issue to solve in this case was the abscence of historical battles. I created a "beta" one, with little armies, very simple... but when i'm going to play, it crashes... just directly to desktop...

I have already talked to the modders of one of my favourite mods (LOTR TW), and they suppose that it could be an incompatibility with the modified campaign map. If anyone could give me some advice regarding this topic, i would appreciate it.

DId you make it with the battle-editor ?

Yes i did. I can save the battle, go into the historical battles menu and choose the army I will play with, but when i'm going to start the game, it crashes to desktop.

Another mod with a modified campaign map and no historical battles is Rome Medieval, but i haven't talk to the modders yet.

Yes... the problem is not new... the mod is like 3 years old and nobody could make historical battles work... As i've said, the modders suspect of the modified campaign map, but we are not sure. If anyone has had a similar problem, please tell me how to give a solution to it, or at least what the problem is. Ty

Sorry... I messed up... the problem is in some way new, cause it turned up with the last version. With older versions, historical battles could be played. After some changes to the game, one day they realized of the problem. And one of the changes that had been made was modifying the campaign map. But there's no certainty that the problem is there (on the campaign map)
