I'am sure some of you have allready seen the bug were rebel ships get stranded on the Egyptian coast. I was wondering what causes it? Is it because of flooding? Can I mod it out?
Thx in advance
Nick

I think I have your problem. Sitting in a random spot in the desert just west of Ammon I have a ship sitting in the desert. The pirates can't be gotten rid of, so they piss me off quite a bit. I don't know how to get rid of them, but is this what you're talking about?

Yep, that's it. I've seen something simillar in M2TW many times - a pirate ship spawned on/in the lake. ("on", "in" - which one is correct?)
I'm sittin' here completely surrounded by no beer.
On - if he was in a lake he'd be underneath the surface

Have you never heard of "Ships of the Desert"?
OK, that may well apply to camels now, but maybe, just maybe, those RS designers, being smart and well versed in all aspects of antiquity, have come across the little known phenomenon of literal Ships of the Desert:
