BTW they got VERY close to my archers, almost got in melee, but one last volley of arrows made them rout lol, i was expecting their reinforcements, since i wanted to deal with all of them, but i finished them too fast xD

dea paladins mod + god knows what more, balix made it, kinnda funny how eldar swordsmen with shields cost 540 and those light ones cost 550, i have to redownload TA TW again to fix this, since i dont want to stay and find every single little unit in the descr's...

if that would be the problem, i could live with that, but (dont know if its dea's fault or not, since balix compacted more mods in one), those eldar swordsmen have 11 attack and 17 def, and cost 540, quite cheap...this is what is the most annoying..

i do think DEA's mod alone is great, but balix put in some more mods, and i didnt backup (yeh stupid me)

I had a battle end roughly the same way last night. Rohan decided to attack a OoTMM invasion force and called me (Gondor) in for support as I had an army hovering around Edoras to help defend against the invasion forces. Before I could get my force anywhere near the battle they decided to charge down the mountain to their doom at the hands of archer deployed stakes. Maybe they were hoping the overcast sky would suddenly clear and blind the stakes? The Orcs, no doubt comfortable in their strategy, stayed put. So, I marched all the way to the top of said mountain, deployed my blackroot vale archers, and obliterated them while they hid behind their defenses. They eventually tried to retreat and my militia cavalry ran them down. I suffered a few casualties but no more than 30. Not bad for killing 4400+ orcs, though it was admittedly a cheap victory.

Needless to say I am quite prowd of this one!!!

It took about 25 mins to fight but was the end of the end of the OOTMM, thank heavens for half a botttle of wine and the more rousing tracks from LOTR, 'O Fortuna' (by Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg & Kurt Prestel - a slightly extended version), 'Hanging' & 'Escape' by Craig Armstrong and 'Requiem for a Dream'! lol!

Afterwards I was so relieved! And thanked the heavens for the various healer traits!

my pc can't handle more than 6k men or 7k dont remember, i mean it can handle but at the cost of 1 frame per 2 sec with luck ....

tough it could be cuze out of my 300 gb HD i only have like 4gb left free

since im talking about this what could i update on my pc to run this mod at least with 12k men with at least 20 fps?

Download YassirX's FPS improvement timer and then set all your graphics stuff to a minimum and keep all un-needed processes using Task Manager. Simples! or maybe not.....

theres the problem, i compared how it was, i set everything to low, unit detail, texture, etc, and then to the highest, NOT EVEN 1 FPS DIFFERENCE...wich is pretty wierd....

and i replayed the same battle with the different settings on

as for the FPS booster, unless im doing something wrong, it's not wroking either.../but considering that with the graphics to the lowest things don't change, this shouldn't be a surprise) gonna try the 4gb workaround

i think i'll just do a fresh windows install again

wait till the music has ended after the results bit has come up and then exit - never had a crash after a major battle etc since i followed this small but reli annoyingly simple bit of trivia!

No I mean the battle was still going and victory was nigh but the game froze...the music still played though. 5 mins later it was still like it so I restarted computer and just said it so I auto_won defender.
