trying to invoke a mega war

i just want to know what you think:

What i wanna try is to eliminate all of the evil factions except for Mordor and maybe one or two others (i will be gondor) and then give them massive amounts of money, like im talking tens of millions. I tried it on a stainless steel campaign with the HRE and it went suprisingly well: they raped france and they had huge armies everywhere. I just wanna know what you think, and maybe what other factions, if any, i should keep alive/eliminate. Im gonna try to form a big block alliance with all of the good factions and try to bassically make a huge war against an over-powered Mordor.

shouldnt they eventualy recruit every last man (ork) and have no people left for recruiting? Almost abadoned cities?
I mean that 400men limit (at least it was 400 in RTW)

They removed that in M2TW and ETW, recruiting doesn't draw from the population and disbanding doesn't add to it

well the cities will keep reproducing and besides, all the orcs need to do are roll some more out of the ground...

Indeed, and I think it's a pity. This introduced another strategic element: should I create soldiers now, or should I wait so the city can develop itself?

interesting, so the only limit would be the number of units available but i dont think that counts for the AI. Seriously if you guys havnt done it yet, try it: be like the dwarves and give Harad like ten million gold and then do the toggle_fow cheat in like 50-75 turns. it is crazy.

I've done it and Mordor currently has around 20-30 stacks (each stack has about 4000) sitting there ready to rock n roll.

I just give Mordor (and all the other factions) a higher King's Purse and I generally lower unit building time to 1 for every building available. Additionally I change the events so that higher tiers are earlier available. That way I'll face more advanced units much much sooner.

After some 20-30 rounds you really feel how Middle-Earth is shaken by war and bitterness, the campaign map feels lively and active. Plus the AI develops its cities much better and doesn't get destroyed so easily.

Send a diplomat to them.
Or with a command but I don't know it

jack: what i do is i do the add_money 40000 until i get the amount of money i want to give them, send a diplomat and then gift the money to them.

It also limits the ability for people to mass-migrate (the RTW idea of building hordes of peasants and then sending them to an underdeveloped city to disband and increase the population.) I think the game would've turned out better if this was left in

You can also edit the the data file to give everyone money, makes for good times, Mod folder - third age - data - world - imperial campaign - description strategy - edit the starting amounts.
