Default Playing Medieval TW on a Mac

Recently I bought a Macbook Pro instead of a new PC.

You can install Windows on a Mac to run windows applications. Would this work with games and has anyone here tried it for Total War games?

My PC still runs Medieval but can experience some serious lag in larger battles, epically in cities or castles. Would be great to enjoy the amazing new mods and visuals at a higher quality.

Some inspiring work on Stainless Steel, Third Age and the host of additional mods.

Ok so playing Windows games on the Mac is now possible with Bootcamp! Wow I did not know this, lets you run any windows application including games.

Tested with Half-Life 2, F.E.A.R and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in this review http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3149424
Apparently runs Empire Total War as well.

I'll have to try this with Third age

DekuTrash, you know something I don't?

Nah, It's just that I love it when games come at and that one person appears and asks "Can it work on a Mac?".

Use this site and it will tell you.

Strange thing to love, I think I'd find it annoying if I wasn't one of those people

    Thanx for the link.

    Amazing!

Got Windows running and installed third age. It's like playing a totally different game! Everything is so smooth and the new units look amazing.

Gone from playing all low spec, unit detail the only thing on medium, to playing everything highest spec. Brilliant
