Need help downloading/installing the third age mod PLEASE!
Ok, So i have the Gold edition game that has the original and all 4 expansion. All of that is installed on my computer, and I hear it is already patched up since its the gold. So.... I'm a total nub at computers, but I really want this mod. I have Vista, just gonna say that if it makes a difference. Ok so I follow the link to the parts 1 and 2. Then hit download. it then pops up asking me to "open" or "save". Right now I am saving to the program files/sega/medieval 2 total war file. Is this correct. I also noticed the patches (1.1 and 1.2) have either "run" or "save" what do I do there????
please any help would be nice. Sorry for being so NOT computer savy.

When you press donwload and it asks you to save, you dont have to save it in your medieval folder, its just the installer. When you activate the files you downloaded(part 1 and then 2), the installer will ask you where to install the mod's files to, thats where you need into your medieval folder. After that just start the game with the shortcut on your desktop.
About patches 1.1 and 1.2, they add content, fix bugs, you should download and install them too like I said to you with part 1 and 2.
Overall you need to install in this order:
Part 1
Part2
Patch 1.1
Patch 1.2
