    Default Mordor turn 200

    Hey all,

Busy playing the best campaign ever.. will post a story about it soon never had such a 50%/50% chance of winning between good and evil during 200 turns..

    But!

Since turn 200 it looked like Mordor spawned some nice full stacks and using them to clean out north (Silvan Elves) while the Dwarves are having stalemates with Ruhn all the time.
Myself (High Elves) --> busy too safe Gondor (just in time) with Eriador together.. decimated Isengard too 3 cities left (but Gondor is still getting banged by Harad).. so, my forces are needed south!
What triggered those full scale Mordor attack from low attack rate too full stacks targeting all Silvan cities?

    GREAT JOB ON THE MOD!

    An invasion?

Nah no invasion, just out of plain nothing they decided too attack all Silvan Elves cities with almost all full stacked armies.

Is this scripted or just plain coincedence?

Its just plain coincedence. There is no script about Mordor rushing into the north, but I see it sometimes since Silvan Elves are at war with Mordor.

Maybe they are just fed up with the sticky, point-ear guys! But to be serious, sometimes Mordor just march with several full stacks to the north, attacking the SIlvan Elves, but after reaching Beorn's Halls, they usually turn west or bact to the south (mostly Gondor attacks them in the meanwhile). It's fun, IMO that you will never know what the enemy will do!

    Tnx for replies all.

They had a bad timing going to the north while my 4 own full stack general armies are saving Gondor from destruction.
Well the fun thing is I'm still having a hard time winning this fight for the good - even after turn 200 (VH/VH ofc).
Greatly balanced i'd say - hurrah!

    Your Campagin sounds funny. =)
I beat my Silvan Campagin yesterday after 276 Rounds.
But after 200 Rounds my Campagin was Hell on Middle Earth!
Gondor, Rohan, OotmM are destroyed, Noldor and Eriador had a hard Time vs. Isengard and the Dwarf+Dale Alliance were in a brutal War against Rhun.

When i finaly break down the Walls of Minas Morgul and the Black Gates, Harad attacks, holy , the next 50 Rounds were full of epic Battles.
Around Turn 250 Isengard and Rhun also join the Anti Silvan Alliance and i lost over 10 Castles. =)

In Round 276 i was back, Mordor destroyed, over 40 Castles and Peace with Isengard and Rhun.
But Harad is still on a killing spree, so when i finished my Gondor Campaign... maybe... =)

    Sounds great!

Here Dale is already destroyed and the Dwarves are fighting epic battles with Rhun (but losing!)
Like I said above, the Silvan Elves have trouble with Mordor at the moment (5 regions left) but I have 2 full stacks there in 3 turns.. hopefully in time.
At the south I launched a full scale attack against Isengard together with Eriador (how --> give the lands you capture too Eriador, they have war with Isengard and there 8 full stacks armies helped me alot!). With that southern front I saved Gondor just in time from a losing battle with Isengard, Harad and Mordor.. brought them back from 2 regions too 8 again, but still they need help.

Really, can't say it more then this but this is the most balanced campaign I ever played.
Btw a nice fact - the Ents helped me ALOT to avoid Gondor from being destroyed!

A little off topic but I just recruited ents in Fangorn, but don't see it as an option anymore...is there a cap to the amount of Ents recruited at one time? It there a way to recruit alot of ents given the money? Or are they like Eldar lancers in the beginning when you have to wait like 19 turns in order to recruit another unit?

Ents replenishment rate is very low, making them very rare to recruit, and the maximum available units is only 1. It is likely that you will wait some time before being able to recruit one more.

30 turns for 1 ent unit, quite low...

and i really dont understand why you have to wait 19 turns for 1 miserable cavalary unit (that is only good to charge with btw...)

Hmpf my new Rhun Campaign is so boring, thats sad, because i love Rhun, but after 80 Turns Gondor, Rohan, Dale and Silvans are destroyed and the Dwarfs only got 3 Cities. =/
Maybe i attack Mordor, but a balance change would be great, it is to easy with Rhun, 10 Generals + 10 Spearthrower are enough for everething in the first 50 Rounds.

To increase the challenge, don't adopt anyone into the royal family, only use natural descendants.

Well got a bit further now and Harad wipes out Gondor even with my help
They now only have the lands above the mountains (former Rohan).

What's the best tactic to fight Rhun with High Elves? And how to kill Mumakil easiest?

Spearman against mumakil and vs rhun you don't have really usefull tactic.
Fighting rhun you should use spearman to defend against their powerfull cathapracts and their strong spearman. Use cavalry to take out their archers and use your archers against their infranty/spearman.
