In no particular order as you can't measure influence:
The United States
Saudi Arabia
Russia
France/Germany (Since the EU isn't counted as a country, these two are the driving force behind it).

Thats what I voted too! But I voted Germany, as I believe they would be one of the top 5's without EU as well.

When you use the word "influential" only one nation comes to mind: the US. At this time, compared to every nation on Earth, they surpass them by many miles. Pretty easy question to answer.

People will probaby be voting Iran or North Korea. They are mistaken. Nations such as these aren't influential on the world stage, merely important in today's news. Then again, depends on how you define the word.

Of all time, probably Britain. But it depends on what part of the world you're from. In general though, Britain. As undoubtedly as the US is today.
