How to mod?

Hey guys erm I am new to the whole modding system and stuff.. now could someone explain to me how I mod stuff like where to put files uploaded by other users.. also the script.txt or whatever ?

Most mods should be extracted to C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\empire total war\data. Some file types will then be launched automatically when Empire next launches, but some need the Mod Manager, which can, I believe, be downloaded from the Tools, Tutorials and Resources board.

If you want to make your own mods, you will need the Pack File Manager, the thread of which is also, I believe, in the resources board. You may also need other applications to do specific things such as import custom skins and 2d graphics.

I think you should read some tutorials like this.
