Building Question
I just started a new Greek campaign with the ExRM and it appears that the practice range and siege engineer buildings no longer serve any purpose other than a public order bonus. Am I just seeing things, or is this the same for all the other factions, too?

Re: Building Question
It's the same in all settlements for all factions, recruitment is completely down to the Auxilia buildings and Barracks whether you're recruiting Cavalry, Siege Engines etc...

Re: Building Question
Quinn Inuit, the creator of this mod, decided to use them for something else. He removed their capabilities but never got round to using them for what he intended.

Re: Building Question
About these Auxilia buildings, i've seen towns with a number of the same type(say Auxilia I) for upto three different factions(In one of the greek cities I saw an Illyrian/Macedonian+Seleucid all existing at once) - would/could this be a problem for the owner(AI) of the city when producing units? Just thinking about the CTD type stuff?
But it is explained in the pdf file about how+why the Auxilia system was used, i think it makes sense - most roman legions, or the core of romes armies came from a small selection of Italian cities, the rest were often hired auxilaries from roman controlled provinces but of a different type depending on the local warfare tradition. It also serves the purpose of stopping(or slowing down) the player simply spam builing huge armies all the time, which is good i think.
One thing to keep in mind is if you build a roman citizenship building you will lose the local variety of troop(Italic Principes/Etrurian Hoplite etc).
