    Default problem with set-up/copy

    hey all!

i have a problem, well my friend has one. i have installed and played SS6.2 and now we thought that it was a lot easier to copy the whole SS map to a USB and from there to his computer instead of downloading again. well that worked, but his computer says that it cant find the set-up.

does it mean the set-up to install? if so where can i find this map?
if not.. what does it mean or what do we have to do? if there is a easy option.. or else we just have to download.

    already thanks!

Not sure exactly what you mean. If you mean can you copy the entire SS directory to another computer, then yes that should work. What is the exact message that you are getting and when do you get it?

Are you both using the same operating system (xp,vista) and same folders (maps...)?
Has your friend some kind of third-party-tool to install/deinstall programs?
Are your MTW/SS shortcuts pointing to the correct files?
    For SS6 this is
    <Medieval II Total War folder>\mods\Stainless_Steel_6\Stainless_Steel_Kingdoms.bat

The easiest (less user involved) way might be to redownload and install locally
