    Default night battle/waiting

Is it still a night battle if I wait before deployment? Cause it's not dark anymore. I am curious if generals still get ,,night fighter" or whatever "+night battles command" trait they have. What do you think?
Yea I know the name is terrible, but it's not really finished.

i noticed that after returning the to the battlemap the general has like 8stars and they get decreased after a while.

So i suposse that if you click nightfight they re-programme the general to have more starts and just that, waiting its meaningless (in addition its just sunrise )

I have wondered the same and I just assumne that if you go into the battle as a night attack and you wait till its day time it still counts as night. I assume the game loads it for that. I also think the decrees of the accuracy of archers is still effected nomatter how long you wait during a night battle.

Having more stars gives your army more morale. It does nothing to the enemy.

I've noticed that the higher the command of the general, the more likely troops are to obey the actions you give them. Like, without a general, you tell your archers to focus on a certain unit, they might shoot that unit, but more than likely, they'll shoot the unit closest to them, which is usually the ones engaging your melee units.

yea I love that - Don't shoot! they are too close! NOOOOOOOOO- whoop whoop whoop - 150 dead teammates, 50 enemies.
I dunno if they obey my orders better - I sometimes they do it immediately and sometimes they wait 5 seconds before they do it, which is too much. Like when spearmen are attacking my cavalry and I tell them to run away, they are waiting and waiting and waiting until enemy is too close

Yeah thats the bad thing about custom battles.U never enjoy it cuz the enemy will either beat u or will flee with his army being 2500/2600.So put the archers on the front -only reccomanded for custom battles or if they r gondorian archers-.

I never play custom battles, I have enough campaign battles to be anoyed sometimes. You know, sometimes I just don't want to fight right now...

well I was testing Mumaki vs. Trolls - Trolls kicked their balls
and one I was testing sharpened poles against Ents, sice they are cavalry, but they just destroy it

the thing about archers not targeting your objective its bcs you use groups, when you tell a whole group (4units of archers for example) to attack one unit, they have somekind of algorythm which sets their targets to all the army around.

If you want accurate fire to an unit, you have to tell your archers fire at em invididually (1 by 1).
