Custom Battles - wrong location

Hi. What's wrong with the custom battle maps? No matter what map I choose, it always starts somewhere in the desert. Sometimes it "spawns" all armies in the middle of the ocean, or in mountains so high, that units are unable to move. There is almost no custom map that works properly.
Can you please fix it? MOD is really great, campaign is really fun, and units look way more realistic than vanilla ones.

yes only some places work but it made the scottish plains a whole more intresting as a map.
