    Default Unlimited Men on Battlefield

The only thing that really ticks me off about this mod is that it constantly resets my preferences file to "unlimited_men_on_battlefield = 1". Every time I change it to 0 it is reset to 1 whenever I start up the game. I don't want unlimited men! At certain points the framerate can become so unbearable that it really is necessary to hold off some reinforcements in order to allow me to play properly.

Is there anything I can do about this?

did you make sure that when you changed the file it was not in read only mode?

Yep. Definitely not in read only. Speaking of that, though, I attempted changing the file to read only to prevent it from reverting. This worked; however, reinforcements never seem to be delayed anyway. I imagine that's something that's been completely and utterly disabled in this mod, huh?

You have to change the preferences file in vanilla m2tw or it will keep resetting in the mod, because the mod is based on vanilla. I had this a couple of times with other settings too.

Ah, but you see I am changing the vanilla one. And as I said before, I did manage to get it to not reset, but nevertheless reinforcements were never delayed in-game anyway, even with it set to 0.
