Ive had a pretty deranged Idea XD about making a RTW mod of WWII but with the technologies present during Roman Empire ages and to be honest Im kinda new here and dont know what follows after you post an idea for a mod but ill like to see if someone is interested on this project well let me know...

Its not WW2 with guns,planes,tanks or battleships.Is WW2 factions but with RTW technology!!

Yes theyre possible except the planes. You wont make a plane fly like a plane. Even if you were to try something like this it would require an immense knowledge of the game engine and such. Even fully automatic guns are said to shudder with their animation.

I would love to see something like this but, just can not see it being done in RTW especially.

Well i did a faction list lethvontek of what the factions maybe.Remember this mod is with ancient tech only that the factions are going to be from WW2.Here goes the list.

Slave should be: Neutral Countries.
So both Thrace and Gauls should be Hungary?
Sweden should earn a spot, they were neutral but they were as hell ready for an attack from the germans.

There mate is fix i added Sweden.Anyways since this is a mod to cover ancient technology ,well i talk to Lethvontek about the URSS and how it soldiers should be and we decided to be a mix of barbarian/civilazed troops.I mean that thell have tech of plate and mail armor but the troops will have barbarian qualities.I also talked about the nazi troops and well theyll look like a combination of greeks,romans and macedon.But thell have some barbarian qualities also.

Thanks for the list of the factions but I need to gather up a team to help me make the units since this is ancient tech I believe this might be changing the skins of the units if someone s interested to help moding the units please pm me ill be posting here the drawings of the units so ppl can have an idea on how this might look like but I really need help with the units

OK so im going to post a pic about the german bodyguard infantry the nazis have.IT was drawed by Leth and the shield is completely round not like in the pic and the sword is shorter.Enjoy!!!!

Well they did not really have armour compared to that of Roman style lol. So archers should absolutely terrify soldiers.
