    Default Battles in RS2: Question.

    Hi everbody,

I was just curious, what will the battles be like in RS2? In vanilla, you just formed a generic line, sent cavalry round the flank, lardy-da, and that was all. Since the BAI only ever formed one hige line of troops, it was impossible to create battles of many regiments in, say 3 lines, withdrawing maniples as needed, or creating a pila screen that rotated back and forth.

Have AI formations been improved? Has the BAI as a whole been improved?

    Cheers.

yes i have found that the AI tends to be a bit more inventive, they often try to flank me at the same time as i try to flank them, so i have to dispose/deal with their flankers first before i can get round them or i have to pull more reserve troops round to out flank the flankers, so to speak
so yes some bttles can be quite a challenge
