Yeah, please do. Good luck though. The Daily Show does an excellent job of proving that the Republican party relies on fearmongering and the manipulation of the ignorant. While it's true that Jon Stewart is clearly not as objective as he'd like to seem, his assessment of the ridiculousness of the "mouth" of current Republican ideology, Fox News, is entirely valid and highlights the fact that the Republican party is failing.


Also, morteduzionism is right in saying that the Democrats, while at times using somewhat similar tactics, are in no way guilty of the organized and systematic attacks used by the Republicans, most of which are based on nothing but ignorance, lies, and fear. The accusations of fascism, with regards to the Patriot Act, are far more accurate then the claims from the right that Obama's "socialist" designs will destroy America. The Patriot Act did more to undermine fundamental principles of freedom than anything Obama has done, or likely will do,
