Default So is Pergamon getting the boot?

I can't wait for RS2 but something has got me concerned. I know the fact that there are going to be new
factions that are pushing some old ones, but is Pergamon one of them? i haven't heard anything about
a preview for them. It would be sad if they do get the boot, they are my favorite RS faction

Pergamon is also one of my favorites, and by RIGHTS it deserves a place in this time period as the ONLY Greek culture faction that was 'on the bubble', so to speak, and rising in power. All of the others were in decline and wasting away. Little Pergamon had the audacity to be at war with Macedon, and win. And to later be at war with Seleucid, and win. So it is one of RS's 'charter' factions.

This pleases me very much, what kind of unit roster can we hope to expect?

Actually they have a pretty awesome unit roster, great mix of units, and of course a prime location -- ready to strike out in any direction...

I like the Pergs because they are the only people in the entire game who will not attack me a couple of years after declaring an alliance.
They are also pretty good soldiers. Saved the backsides of my 5th legion in northern Macedonia after joining a battle that went a little oblong.

So ya, I glad they still in the game.

Pergamon has one of the best unit rosters imo due to their position. They have all of the benefits of having successor units as well as some eastern influenced ones, galatian units and a few from Thracia. You will not be disappointed.
