A few suggestions/questions

I was thinking of ways to add in more characters to the game aside from the Generals and Family members. I got to thinking about Littlefinger and was thinking that it might be cool if you could add him in as a maxed out merchant that could generate a lot of income for Joffrey's faction, or a maxed out Diplomat. However, he would also have very low loyalty and could be bribed to join another faction. I think this might be better than simply having him as an ancillary to Joffrey's character.

Also, I was wondering about the claiming Kingship feature. I was playing as House Stark and claimed the Kingship of the North. I then took Kings Landing and destroyed House Joffrey. I believe at this point I recieved the ancilarry of King of Westeros or King on the Iron Throne. I was wondering if at this point we could work out a second option to claim Kinghood, whereby I could either claim the Iron Throne, or decline, in which it would automatically go to House Stannis? Also it would be cool if any faction that held Kings Landing could name their own King, and that king would still style himself King of Westeros even if Kings Landing was lost.

I think the ancillary title can be traded between characters but I could be wrong. I'm not sure about declining kingship, somebody more knowledgeable on the subject can answer that. It would be pretty simple to implement and I do like the idea...

As far as Littlefinger goes, I don't think he'll be added as an actual piece on the campaign map. Instead he'll probably just be a ancillary for however holds King's Landing and the Iron Throne.

I like the idea of claiming King's Landing and styling yourself King of Westeros. And if you lost King's Landing, the King trait could change to a trait 'King in Exile', or 'Imposter to the Throne' or something of that nature.

Or traits, and like in Rome where you deselected a faction heir a dethroned king could get "ex-king"

It would have been nice if you could choose to support a certain side of the war. For example, support Stannis' claim by sending a diplomat there.

Can we get more provinces and castles, there are maps (http://img167.imageshack.us/img167/5...steros1yj8.gif) that show way more castles and I think it would help, if you cant add in more places at this point in the mod then thats cool too.

A question I want to know is where is the generals characteristics and faction characteristics so that I can mod in some stuff of my own.

pappy: we're going to add some stuff, such as permanent stone forts. I believe that Darkstar is working on it. Also, you can direct code questions / requests towards him, as he is still nominally the lead coder).

Overall, we're not going to expand the map larger than it already is (apart from maybe a bit more of the Free Cities or Valyria, if DwD fleshes them out and we got an insane amount of demand for it from the playerbase. There will be minor changes though.

I alone do not constitute an insame amount of demand, but in case they flesh it out, I'd throw the first stone to cause an avalanche of demand!

Will faith and priests still exist in 1.0? I think it should switch to Obedience, and you could recruit maesters who spread obedience. I'm not sold on the idea of maesters as ancillaries.

Maesters are no priests. They help their lords to reign, teach the children and heal injuries and diseases, but they definitely are no priests. I'd even say some of them are atheists.
So I think they are good ancillaries.

I was wondering, using an example. Is there a way for two factions to combine, like if Renly where to be given all the Tyrell lands, generals and armies. Im playing as Renly and Highgarden is stopping me from making piece with the remanants of the Lannisters, I have also been there faithful allie and since in the books Renly is there king then wtf? they should be combined to make Renly king of the Stormlands and Reach and whatever else you take. It would also make it easier to show stuff like Roose Bolton betraying you.

This should only happen if you are they're faithful allie for like 50 turns and have become king.

Also can we make it so that if you take KL and make it you capitol that you become King on the Iron Throne.

pappy: pretty much impossible on the faction-merging stuff, sorry.

We can have a King On the Iron Throne trait, or ancillary, to represent your kingship, caused by being in King's Landing, but we can't change your faction.
