PROPOSED Units for FANS Description Contest

Since most ( if not all ) our decription writers left or are off on holiday, what would you think about this;

Picking some units that still need descriptions done, and posting it in the forum as a contest for the fans. All descrips could be placed in seperate polls for all to vote on. Not only would it create some interest, (get them to stop thinking about the release), but also may land us some new talent. I realise that we would have to be careful about non-previewed factions.

Would you like to contribute to RS II ?

Our Unit Description Writers have hit the proverbial wall. They are resting comfortably in padded rooms with new coats sporting extra-long sleeves, and have been observed calmly licking windows.

Sooooooo, in order to help these wretched individuals, we thought that running a little contest for the fans may be just the thing . It will also speed up the release of the mod.

Posted below are FOUR units that need descriptions. You can do any one you wish or all four. The style is your choice; historical, observational, or a combination of both. All we ask is that you;

a) meet the deadline,
b) spell check your entry
c) have fun.

Once we have the entries we will post them in a poll for you the fans to vote on your favourite(s). Providing of course that we are overwhelmed with entries. (I certainly hope we will be.)

P.M. your entries to; tone, Macky or Arnspac no later than;

Midnight - Wednesday, August 26, 2009.

All serious entries will be rewarded.

I look in the edu too when i'm dooing a description, i found that it helped me.

PS I love the way you describe the poor guy that search for hours just for a small drop of information on a unit, wich looks like it is only the divagation of a mad modeller.
