    Default Editing Unit Movepoints

Is there any way to modify the movepoints of a specific unit? I ask because I noticed the other day playing TA:TW that Axemen of Lossarnach have significantly less movepoints than any other unit of infantry. This surprised me, because I had been under the impression that movepoints were assigned by class. Is this inaccurate and how can this be done?

In the case of stratmap movement points you are right about class = infantry, cavalry and siege. Check what class those guys are, maybe siege. You can't do that with individual units.

Maybe you just had them under a lazy general, or they had already moved that turn...

They were under a captain, and they are classed as infantry under the EDU. Yet they have only three-quarters the movepoints.

There is nothing in the descr_campaign_db of TA:TW that indicates changes in movement_points.
The stat_ground in the EDU is only applicable for battle

Have you been able to replicate that matter? Have a second infantry unit together with those axemen and then click on each unit individually to determine whether there is a difference in movement distance.

Unfortunately, yes. I've merged all sorts of infantry with them and each one has reduced movepoints after the merger. Separate the armies again, and they seem to have more.

It is unlikely that the other unit will have reduced movement points on its own. If you click the character on the stratmap, the green radius will show how far the whole stack can move - which is determined by the unit with the lowest movement points.
If you click on the individual unit card it should show you the individual movement range.

The only thing I can think of is a script that reduces a certain percentage of movement points. (But I am not going to hunt for it!)

For whatever reason, it's not been repeatable ever since I booted up TA:TW this morning. I must have just been tired. Sorry to bother everyone, but it looked so convincing.

Have heard before fo scripts that severly cut the movement points, but haven't heard yet of such a way, perhaps just ask TA crew?

We all have seen Gremlins running around on the campaign map I presume. Less coffee sometimes helps.

you could always use the: character_reset "character name" command in the command console, would let you move again, but yeah it's cheating and I don't think that's what your after. but Maybe this helped.

and guys don't think I'm a cheater, I just know the stuff
