Shortcut missing!?

OK I've been trying all day to get this mod to work but nothing I do seems to help. The game downloads and installs fine but when i double click on the shortcut I get the message "shortcut missing." then after the computer searches for the launcher it says the file is missing or has been changed and will no longer work properly. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mod 3 times and the same thing keeps happening. I'm sorry if the answer is glaringly simply but I'm not computer savvy. I use vista if that has anything to do with it.

well easy to resolve (depends if this works) just do this:
- go to the sicilian vespers install folder in you medieval 2 folder called mods and you see a file called launch sicilian vespers 3.3 right click it and select option send to> and there will be an option called "desktop(create shortcut) click it and there will it be
