Question for all: Am I immoral? (drug related)

So for Christians, Muslims, Atheists, etc, am I immoral for carrying out drug abuse? Am i merely stupid/irresponsible?

I'm just interested in seeing people's views on hard drugs in a moral context.

I do not care personally. If you have kids or a wife than it is immoral because of the dangers involved in heavy drugs. If the drug incapacitates you but does not kill you then you are a burden to the state. Otherwise I do not care or promote or condone drug use. Some people try a few things and are ok. Some people run a car into a tree. Some people drag their life out into a miserable multiple decade long disaster. I do not know you so I will not judge.

While drugs are totally cool (i learnt this from rap), you should try limit yourself to reefer. But if it's really a bumpin party and you just need to step it up, a snort or needle now and then is A-okay.

Like i said, i only do it rarely, when with certain friends. This isn't about me getting health tips though, i know all the risks/effects. Someone told me a few days ago that it was disprespectful to God, and i wondered if anyone here shared those views.

From a Christian standpoint (which is what you were asking) I would say no and yes at the same time, since drugs always affect those around you as well that therefore makes it a selfish act of wrongdoing.

From my experiences with people with drugs (family members) yes you are very immoral and stupid. Anyone who tells you it only affects themselves is a raging idiot. It doesn't matter if you buy heroin and never talk to a soul in the world besides your dealer, you are still negatively affecting another part of the world. Drugs always affect others, and no matter how strong willed you are they are physically addicting. Sorry I'm a little bitter towards this subject and have little sympathy for drug addicts.

For legalization of drugs hell yes, even better.legalize gambling& prostitution. Imagine the revenue youd get from regulating those.

i say you are immoral due to my own personnel beliefs i believe their is not one excuse to use any sort of drug. the human body is a beautiful thing. no reason to corrupt it.

I have a policy with the drugs I take... I only do drugs that are psychoactive and non-addictive, drugs that work with the mind in a way that can teach one lessons on how to better live one's life without avoiding one's responsibilities, on how to love selflessly, on how to help people around who are in need, and on how to better understand the inner and outer realities without conflict. So I take mushrooms, LSD, and ecstasy (although ecstasy is more of a pleasure drug, it can teach a lot about the nature of love). Take my advice, if you want, and stay away from heroin, cocaine, and other such drugs, for all they do is blind you of your responsibilities to the people who love you and trap you into a game of hedonism and consequent suffering. If you do take psychedelics, of course, don't take them alone, take them with people you can trust, and study the mysticism behind it before you partake in the experiences... drugs are not for the weak. They are dangerous for the unprepared or for those who think it's simply "fun". A few books can teach you the art behind psychedelics. My favorite spiritual guide is Stanislav Grof. He is a very mature individual who takes psychedelics into a sacred context and doesn't mess around.

2. Heroin is the most dangerous drug, with cocaine following rather closely. I'd say you risked too much in consuming those. Ecstasy is easier than tobacco, so not much to say there.
3. I'm a liberal and I'm also for legalizing all drugs.
