I've noticed that some units in the game cost 30000 denarii. For Babylon they are light spearmen. They aren't special units either. For Kemet the same thing except with marines. Why do they cost so much?

They're not meant to be recruited - you should recruit their cheaper versions instead. The reason these 30000 denarii units are there, is to prevent the loyalist revolt ctd.
