For buidling_battle.txt.strings.bin just delete your current .txt.string.bin and the game will regenerate it from this file![]()
axnsan was faster...
Im looking in the text folder inside the data folder of my TA:TW and i cant find the build_battle.txt file in there, could i possibly have a directory? also is this file from the 1.2 patch?
Then just place it there. And yes it is.
Well ill give you guys the good news first. The game didnt crash at the first loading screen and i was able to get to the starting menu. When i tried to start a campaign as Mordor, the game crashed. I guess i will post my log.

Why don't you just try to reinstall tatw?![]()
i already tried that and to no avail. Me and mithandir have been working on this problem for some time and it doesnt seem to be solved yet.
do you use vista?
No he uses XP.
Have you tried to redownload it as well?
yes i tried a redownload and it took forever which is why i dont want to have to go through with an uninstall. And julian is right, i use XP.
