Dwarf Dragonslayers

First off this mod is awesome, easily one of the best mods I have ever played. Secondly how do I get Dwarf Dragonslayers. I know you need the the gray mountains regions(there are 2 I believe), I have conquered those regions but still no dragon slayers. I there another requirement?

I would guess the first or (more likely) second advanced barracks event, has it come yet?

Are you using 1.2? Pay a little attention to the event in the second turn that pops up..

You have to wait a few turns till you can recruit new units. And then you have to wait again to get the "most elite" untis of an faction.

I think I have had the second event, I know I have had the first event for sure. I am around turn 70, I have the axes of erebor and vault guardians.

yes you need to recruit them in Dain's Halls

You can also recruit them in Wormcove

I never can get them there because it takes FOREVER to get high enough barracks rank.

Trick is with the smaller settlements like Wormcove, put your best governor in there, the ones with population growth bonuses etc, with low taxes. Doing this you can even outpace larger settlements.

on the 70th turn you should have already got them.
in 1.2 they are recruitable after 30th turn or so

I have the Dain's Hall on auto manage because I was short on generals. So I may have just never noticed them. This is my first campaign and I only saw that the dragonslayers existed from the TATW Royal military academy website.

OH GOD! OH GOD! TURN IT OFF!

Really automanage is the worst thing you can do- Even without general you can still manage those cities by yourself! Just Uncheck the "autobuild" and "autorecruit" option in the city screen.

Thanks for all the tips guys... this forum is awesome!! Turning off the automanage really helps, I can actually save money now. I have now almost taken all of the Orcs of the Misty Mountains settlements now.
