    Default Campaign Events

    Hi
    I am modding the startpos , and I need to remove one event that make my game crashes exactly 2 turns after conquering Malta
    the event is "Workers on strike" , and than I have an event such as "letter of demand" ----> One turn after I have CTD no matter what I do
    Could you please indicate which (where) is the text file commanding the events ; I didn't find it in the startpos

    The city is rebelling, that's what's giving you the CTD--there's nowhere for the units to appear. Mod the happiness or upgrade the building--that should be easier. If your faction has a different religion, change the percentages of believers in Malta to match your own.

    Erasmus 777 thanks answering this problem that make me crazy .....

    I need to conquer Malt because the faction involved in the the conquest is the Barbarian States (Lybia-Tunisia-Algeria) just in front of the island of Malta ; Even if I stay troops remaining in the island , and exempt Malta from taxes ; I have a Rebelion & 2 turns after CTD
    Is there a way to prevent the game from crashing after the rebellion ? After the conquest ?
    I was about to Upload the Mod but this issue prevents me from doing it




    I have enable the Barbary_states to be playable ; Created new units , (ie Goorka's rider's ; Arab_legion , and
    New Chebeck with special flame thrower in front and rear , New faction leader such as the Rai's ; I have textured Mouhamar and set the faction Victory Condition for Jiad

    You need to prevent the rebellion. Do this by modding the region's happiness in startpos. Change the religion for the region to match yours. If you need to, make a region trait (look at what alpaca's done in APE:TI) that adds happiness to the region and add it under the traits node.

    Change the religion for the region to match yours.
    : I have raised up to 50 % mulsim still CTD

    Ok I found it ; I didn't understand APE:IT at first (abreviation)

    Still CTD

    How can I add happiness to the region ?

    You know the reason why: your settlement is going into rebellion, there's no room for the army to spawn, so you get a CTD. Have you tried changing all your troops to dragoons? You can do that in your faction army array and change the units IDs to euro_dragoons. Change the religion to 90% muslim. Upgrade the building in the region array if you can.

    Also, in the region array, under POPULATION_CLASS, there are three integers. I believe one of these corresponds to happiness. Write down the numbers for each class and load the game. Go to your settlement and see if you can figure out if one of the numbers is describing how many happy or angry citizens you have.

    You could also mod the building type that you have in the settlement. Give the building high repression and happiness effects.

    in Malta ?
    Why changing pikemen ; milicia to Dragoons ; I don't know how to do this .


    the CTD occurs once I have conquered Malte , and that Malte is totally under my control except the rebellion that I cannot handle
    I have put 100 % muselim as the local religion, it's the same

    I was thinking giving Malte to the English faction in order to avoid the Ctd ; I can do the changes untill a certain limit
    but I didn't find any tutorial explaining how to change the units

    I am struggling in order to avoid the CTD to do that I am trying to pass Malte to the Barbary_faction ; so like this there will be no problem of conquest
    The problem I meet is here



    How can I have those units to be commanded by the faction ; I have written the faction ID as owner ; but still

    same for the Navy >>>>>>>>>>> Flags OK but units ( Army ) isn't mine even if I write the correct Faction ID Barbary_states 695497324 instead of knights_stjohn 693092284
    Could you help ?
