Default Am I really supposed to install Darthmod under Activision?

I have a clean copy of RTW at Version 1.5 on my desktop (with Windows Vista, if that means anything). However, when I try to install the mod (under C: Program_Files/Activision/Rome: Total War), the installation stops midway, with a lot of the descr files unable to be installed.

However, I did remember that when I installed RTR, installing under Activision didn't work, and instead I installed under C: Program_Files/Creative_Assembly/Rome: Total War.

I am going to try again soon, and hopefully it'll work because I definitely want to be outsmarted by the AI!

Okay... I just tried it under Creative_Assembly, but the same problems are still occurring... right now, I'm wondering how I can make it work.

Why not try installing to your desktop, then if that works, copy the files over to your Rome Total War folder?
Like Neverwinter Nights? Wondering where to go now that the old NWN Vault is gone? Come visit the new one at http://neverwintervault.org/!
