Default Our consumption in art pictures

I saw this on Friday night as I was sipping my herbal tea and watching the PBS as usual and thought it was interesting.

Look at all the things we use, waste, utilize and toss in his photos.

How much money can I make by buying and selling scrap?
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

A US company is taking plastics recycling to another level - turning them back into the oil they were made from, and gas.
Now what to do with the cigarette butts.

Shove them down the throats of those who drop them on the sidewalks and roadways.

We could create a marketable substitute to filters that create only biodegradable waste.

Or we could legalize electronic cigarettes in the U.S.

Less harmful, with no smoke (instead vapor), can contain toxic to no levels of nicotine in the propylene glycol solution, creates only plastic waste and occasionally discarded rechargeable batteries.

Sure real cigarettes have a lower start-up cost but after a carton its more expensive, more deadly, more taboo...If the FDA would stop seizing shipments from China maybe we'd have a more prosperous and healthy America. With less waste that would not provide for photo ops of the Original Post.

(And the "waste" of junked cars? Perhaps if the government didn't encourage people to junk them a leftist would have more ground to stand on. )

I don't think I get the point here.
The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison

The word you were looking for is budget deficit.

    Anyways,
Garbage looks good as long as it's all well sorted.
And when it's sorted, you can be pretty sure it won't just be burned or thrown in a landfill, but recycled. - why else would they go through all that trouble?
