What was before God?

I am a firm believer in God, being a pious Muslim but I would liek to know, from a person who believs, their view on what was before God?

Emptiness? Or was he always there? Or is that there is a constant cyccle of this spiritual power that keeps creating himself over and over?

Now now, that's not nice, but luckily I have the answer, what ever was there before someone made up the idea of a god was there before the idea of a god, can't be specific, because no one really knows who imagined him first. But, considering what we know, it's a safe bet that most of the universe was there first excluding the last several thousand years or so.

Because I just go into these trances where I just go, what happened before this and that. My personal opinion is there is just a never ending cycle of some spiritual power, but when one dies another takes it place.

There is no before. Time does not begin and end unless itself exists within another time. If time is unique than it has always existed, because when was the first second time existed? When it existed. There was no motion, then there was motion.

Time simply has been. From our knowledge time cannot come to exist, it simply exists. From our perspective we might assign a timeline to anything not related to our existence, but that does not mean it is accurate or one can be made at all.

We can know, by reason and revelation.

If there's a God he started with the concept of existence, therefore IMO he has a real age.

God is infinite, so there was nothing before Her, as the word "before" is meaningless when applied to Her. She is everything, and everyone, for She is existence itself.

Well something can't have always exist everything with an end has a begining, perhaps some external factor created the universe? We don't know for sure and probably never will, but if the universe is infinate or has an end than what exist out side said boundries? Time is indeed specual but it's hard to believe it was always there, because what existed before it and what existed before that and so on and on.
This spiritual or cosmic enitity probably recreated itself in order to advance the conditions of the universe, you know evolved. Or it could of died and passed on the torch to another enitity. It's mind boggling does anyone know the answers to the universe in which we exist? Or are we not even here, soliphism is scary.
