legitimate clans

So i am in a clan right now but do not know if they are legitimate or not, but i do not want to single them out or anything, so could someone tell me what are all the legit clans that are left in rome total war, so i can know if i should leave or not?

I assume that with "Legitimate" you mean Skilled? in that case name your clan and we will tell you if theyre skilled or not.

Heavens Glory aren't the best. They don't even train their members.

There are plenty of better clans than them: HoS, USSR, AoE, GoTW, Sith, TAoW, KoA, SoR, to name a few

Interestingly enough, I was about to post "If it's Heaven's Glory, then the answer is a resounding NO" the moment I saw this thread. I didn't want to bash a clan without provocation, but now that we know for sure it IS Heaven's Glory, it would've been funny as hell if I had done so. Ah well.

I remember when i fought the first HG member. No decency or proper tactics. I dont know how they behave when im not using them as Piñatas, but i got a premonition that theyre not exactly proffesional gamers in their own circles either. I would advise you to leave, change your name so you wont be associated with them, and then get a memory wipe. after that you should pick one of the clans from Lancer's list in post # 5. Except USSR, you have to be from russia, eastern europe or the former DDR to join them. they wont let non ex communist peoples in as far as i know. AoE is a shadow of its former self. no point in that. the rest should be ok i guess.

im serious about the piñata business. Once you punch trough their noob box theres Archer candy goodness for everyone. Wooh!

normally I dont like clan politics but I hate when people bash clans based on a few games with some player. You should never make fun of any clans...Rome is a game thats meant to be played

Congratulations you beat some of the lower sith members. good luck against say aga or deer. Seriously heavens glory anybody can win a 1v1 battle and bt2 you had faction advantages in both of those xfire games. Also, ive beaten most of the heavens glory members pretty badly. i can show you a screenie of me nearly heroicing Showtime in a game. Frosho, meh played some 2v2s and i won all of them against him, ye both our allies were n00bs but i defeated his ally before he beat mine. Heavens glory is one of the weaker clans and are looked down on by MOST of the lobby. But then again, like CoH, a few screenies with a sith member thrown into a game isnt much. If you looked at an overall record i'd say Sith is further out infront than Usain Bolt would be if he was racing parapalegic preschoolers.



(i have nothing against parapalegics im just using that as a metaphore)

Also lol at the heavens glory site. That war discussion with KoA was hilarious. Also teh fact that Hanser could help you in the war is pathetic. annother thing to lol at, They put a screenie up of them beating axe and zeke at 20k, they were rome axe and zeke were numidia and thrace. Seriously guys. Thats nothing to brag about. Also the whole egy player thing is even better cause pretty much anyone can win with egypt.

mm kings are better at 30 K. one of their members is the reason the score between me and ispanico is now 5-1. theyre god awfull allies in CWB 15 K. i still took out a good 980 enemies though...

Still, DOC is a great mate in BF2. he compensates for his bad timing and aim by carrying a defib.

so how do these good clans work? Seems to be rather exclusive to keep the clan name as good, but joining a bad clan you say to be counter productive. So how do we bridge the gap between getting stuck in a bad clan and not being good enough to join the good ones? We just supposed to train individually or is there "farm" clans run by the good ones to train "prospects"? Any help would be great as i attempt to learn the ins and outs of RTW.
