start up error (Vista?)

Okayyy so my friend is trying to get RS after i opened is mind to mods. However when the mod reaches the first loading screen, it ctd's with the error "cannot find skeleton fs_s1_semi_fast_archer"

i searched twc and found the fix of removing the "_s1" part. Okay. Then we run it again and this time it's "cannot find skeleton fs_s1_semi_fast_swordsman"

same fix

then it's "cannot find skeleton "fs_semi_fast_foot_archer" this time i am stumped. Any suggestions. He is using 1.6v and RS1.5c, he is also on Vista

You installed incorrectly, look at the vista thread in this forum and in the M2TW technical help forum for how to make Vista not suck .

problem being his mod files aren't in Program Files, there on the desktop
