    Default 3 summers, 1 winter

It seems that they have added this feature to TATW, I wonder if it is possible to add it to SS? I was under the impression that you couldn't have that ratio of summers/winters in the game. Does someone know of a mod that will do this trick, or how to add it in by oneself? And what effect would it have in the TPY?

If you mean 4 turns per year, yes it is possible to script this. Check the Mod Workshop forums for details.

It's not just 4 turns per year, it's the fact that rather than the turns going Summer- Winter- Summer- Winter, they go Summer, Summer, Winter, Summer. I think it's supposed to represent, Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring.

That's what I meant. You can actually script up to 12 turns per year with proper aging (apparently)

12 would be good, with limited moves for armies that are more than just generals - it's always been a problem I've had in TW games that no matter how well I fortify my borders, the enemy cross them before my frontier watchtowers can see them and can usually besiege me in 2 turns. Also, the reason for general-only armies not being restricted is that a prince and his 60 bodyguards move a lot faster than an army of 2500 heavily armoured knights, even though the game gives them the same move because they have horses.

"Scout" units could move faster too, if in an army of less than five cards? To allow units of, say, Jinetes or Mongol Horse Archers the manoeuvrability they'd have in real life...

poor militia cavalry that can affort a single horse would move in infantary speed but
these 2500 are nobles that can affort 5 or 6 horses for keep swaping

Yes, but militia cavalry might travel lighter... different grades of cavalry movement would be good though.
