    Default Amazing Earth Photography

As seen from the International Space Station:

Ok, pretty anyway. I like seeing the condensation cloud atop the volcanic eruption. I guess that's what leads to the drop in temperature which creates the sudden pyroclastic flows.

Check out this site too: The Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth. 300,000+ pics apparently.

    Enjoy.

the picture of the moon is cool too. Different perspective putting the earth to the side like that, and being able to see how the atmosphere distorts the photo.

It's fantastic seeing pictures of the Earth from space, I can't imagine what the experience would be like to actually see our planet from that far away.
Especially the Apollo pictures, where you can see so completely how truely tiny our world is in comparison to the rest of the universe, a mere blue marble in the nights sky.

    Kudos for the good link

I wear the chain I forged in life, I made it link by link and yard by yard. Is it's pattern strange to you? How would you know of length of the strong coil you bear yourself? It was as full, as heavy, and as long as this seven christmas eve's ago, you have labored on it since, it's a ponderous chain!
