    What is that.

Peter Schiff actually seems a more viable candidate than Rand Paul does.

I'm pretty sure he will destroy his GOP opponents and win every debate against Dodd.

Dodd may have become more unpopular since the economic collapse but he is still a powerful senator. How many CT people know this guy and be willing to vote out a Democrat. Lieberman loast his primary but was able to stick around. It won't be so easy..

Sounds wonderful, his economic ideas are spot-on, problem is I have no idea what his political views are.

But he certainly couldn't be worse than Dodd. I'm behind him.

EDIT: By the way, what the hell happened to Laffer? He's started being wrong about everything. Hell, he's even said the Laffer Curve was useless!

EDITED EDIT: And Schiff needs to work on his shifty eyes. I know he was looking at the other people at the table but he needs to do it slowly and move his whole head.

The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite. The former will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce; with which last the power of taxation will, for the most part, be connected. The powers reserved to the several States will extend to all the objects which, in the ordinary course of affairs, concern the lives, liberties, and properties of the people, and the internal order, improvement, and prosperity of the State. - James Madison

I'm from Connecticut! I did not know he was running for Senate ;O Dodd is complete scum - he will be voted out - there are quite a few conservatives in this state, why do you think Liberman stayed in office I might vote for him, but then again just because he is a great economist does not make him a great Senator.

I honestly dont' know what makes a great senator. From what I can see 'great' means 'get his name on as much pork as he can get built in his state'.

Great economists are what this country needs. There are other matters to be dealt with, namely military matters, but I'm much more concerned with the economy.
