Of course you can expect plenty of new features, and probably a few surprises.

Patria Libera on TWC Wiki...
http://www.twcenter.net/wiki/Patria_Libera
I'm sure for that... ...
that map got me aroused.
Havrnt read the entire thread, but whats Terra Mathei and Halych-Volhynia?
And do you choose for both of those slots, or just one?
both are additional factions so you will have to choose one of them before starting game, same as Roma Surrectum II ... for now we have like 5 or 6 additional factions but only one free slot...
concerning history of both factions just check wiki

I don't see Savoy included in the game! During the period covered by the game (1301-1453) the count of Savoy greatly expands his Alpine realm by acquiring Nice in 1388, giving access to the Mediterranean Sea and expanding northwards to include Geneva in 1401. In 1416 Savoy became a Duchy headed by Amadeus VIII and influences the formation of Milan, Burgundy and the Swiss Confederation. Any chance of including a Savoyard faction in the game? As an historian I'm willing to offer any help developing this if you include it in the game as a playable faction!
What’s the actual progress of this mod ?
