What performance index on Vista will ensure after-battle CTDs don't occur?
Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can advise me on Vista's settings to ensure that the after battle CTDs don't happen. I am running EB in RTW installed in a non-Program Files folder, running on a 32-bit Vista OS, 2.4GHz speed processor and 3070 Mb RAM... I am wondering how each component on this index report affects EB's performance. I am inclined to think it would not be such an issue but I was wondering if the tech-savvy amongst you can help me out?My promising campaign and associated AAR have ground to a halt because of this. I am playing a Romani campaign on H/M difficulty.
This is my performance report churned out by Vista...

Vista performance scores are less than useless. I'd suggest you ignore them. Given your setup, I suggest using a mixture of patience and save-before-the-battle-routine just to be on the safe side when combating the post-battle CTDs.
