About the heroes in 1.2:
Where on earth are they? Are they available in the campaign? Are there prerequisites before you can get them?
Where is Frodo, Gandalf, Aragorn, Gimli etc... Where are the Ents ?I need specific and detailed answers.

Heroes belong to different factions and they are in the campaign. The Ents are in Fangorn but you must conquer it with the Elves and then wait a few turns.![]()
That wasn't exactly a detailed response
For example, I'm playing the dwarves. It's turn 20, and still no sight of Gimli. This means that there are probably prerequisites. I need to know what those are.
Gimli is available right from the start has Dwarf... like in 1.1... but now he got some awesome model! If you don't see him, delete folder TATW and reinstall 1.0, Part 1, part 2, patch 1.1 and patch 1.2. You should have Gimli at the start if you reinstall the game. Gandalf is turn 8 (or nine I don't remember) with Eriador.
When does frodo spawns for Eriador?
Look ill try to be specific There is no Heroes in 1.2 They just added skins to the general group containing legolas gimli and aragorn. The general for Legolas now looks like legolas thats it no hero no nothing just a legolas skin for the legolas general.
Did you play it, by God? Fist they are some skin and new trait to represent them! Plus, you have Gandalf!Just try 1.1 and then switch to 1.2 you'll see the difference and I don't mention all the goodies and other major improvement... -rep for you!!!!! (Your lucky that I can't give you a -rep!)"there is no heroes in 1.2"
exacly what i was thinking a - rep would worked well on that post .
Oh my. I didn't mean to cause strife
Alright, I finally found Gimli ! I was wrong, Gimli *IS* in patch 1.2.
But it is easy to miss him up there in that castle, and I thought he was just a regular general.
Apparently the "hero" units here are not standalone units like in lotr-tw. It was easy to confuse them with regular generals, unless you actually read all the traits.
How did LOTR:TW make standalone units?![]()
