Have you got it yet? Did you DL or buy the disc? How have you found it? I'm getting it tomorrow.
@mods, since this is a new major release can we keep this on this page for now?

Mods don't move this thread please
WHY? It's even in the thread name that mods shouldn't move this thread because this is a major new release....
I've got the game, and seriously I'm a bit disappointed. I don't seem to get the command hierarchy, and always end up clicking on those goddamned counters all the way while not knowing what am I actually doing...![]()
Play as Russia/USSR, and take a theater may Arkhangelsk and deconstruct it, and then rebuild it, that is how I learned. Remember to generally use 3 divisions in a Corps, 3 Corps in an Army and 3 armies in a Army Group, thought you can have five ( Groups/ Divisions Corps Armies,) if the situation calls for extra firepower,
AS ussr I usually take all the divisions from southwestern front Army group and put them in all my other corps to bulk up their men and i leave southwestern front HQs in one province around stalingrad as reserves/when i build more divisions
my average corp has 3-5 divisions
3-5 Corps per Army
2-5 Armies for Army group
3 Army groups a Theatre

Whats HO13?
Hearts of Iron 3.
It's a global strategy game set in World War II developed by Paradox Studios.
What puts HoI 3 and its' brethren series (Victoria, Crusaders, Rome, Europa Universalis) apart from your usual strategy game is the enormous complexity compared to "normal" games. It's hard to start out with one of these games but it pays off in the long run because you've got to think and plan a lot more than with other strategy games. Actually you could say that these series' are some of the few strategy games where strategy actually matters.
I'm not considering the game for my buying list as of yet. But that's got to mean nothing because my list tends to stay empty when I've got a lot of work to do.![]()

Oh no the picture of my dog disappeared!
I probably would wait until this Saturday, seeing how much the patch works. However, I don't expect the patch would have any miracle and generally Paradox games would only fixed after "1.3" patch.
Had it preordered and going to download it tonight.

A quick overview of the game for you pspguy.
wait.. i was just about to get HOI2...![]()
Darn it all!![]()
I've preordered for download. Am staying up a bit to see if I can download it before I go to bed, otherwise, tomorrow morning.
Just to get me going, I have been playing HoI2 - Mod 34.
I watched numerous threads closed on that forum in the recent days, been in contact with some banned members, played the demo and eventually changed my signature into something that says it all...

Its called benefit of the doubt.
Paradox releases good games, so why should this one be terrible?
And you can't judge the entire game by a demo; look at EU3, the demo was nothing compared to the actual game.
