    Please report Bugs of TATW 1.2 in this thread.

    Bugs that are reported with TATW 1.0 or 1.1 won't be considered, since they may have been fixed in TATW 1.2!
    Unnecessary posts that contain no bug report or don't confirm a bug will be deleted.


    Known Bugs


    - Game does not recognize when orcish factions are destroyed (a silly mistake by me that this is still not fixed )
    - little "water-bug" in Edoras
    - little "water-bug" in Isengard
    - some battle radar maps are black
    - Lower Uruk-hai models have holes in it
    - Dunedain Rangers "spike-bug"
    - weapons of Snaga Skirmishers are black
    - Staff of Gandalf picture wrong
    - some Dale texture bugs
    - Mumakil death animation bug
    - Legolas has no sword in melee battle
    - Aragorn graphical bug on campaign map
    - no fire arrows for elven factions
    - Eldar Lancers have wrong sprites
    - Dwarves occasionally refer to Scotland
    - Dwarven Axethrowers throw javelins
    - wrong "successful invasion" picture
    - Harad has "Shisha Bar"
    - Ents can't attack Mumakil
    - Nazgul get Ring of Barahir
    - crash in custom siege battles (solution here)



    Bug Fixes

    Bug Fix #1 (attachment 1)
    - Fixes the bug that destroyed evil factions aren't recognized as destroyed
    Installation: Copy the attached file into Medieval II Total War/mods/Third_Age/data and overwrite the existing file.

    Bug Fix #2 (attachment 2)

    - Fixes the Legoals melee bug (Thanks to axnsan)
    Installation: Extract the attached file into Medieval II Total War/mods/Third_Age and overwrite the existing file.

    In my current campaign (Eldar) when I took Moria, there was no bridge of Khazad-dum nor chamber of Mazarbul. But in my previous campaign (Sindar) there were.

    So you can not see the "desr_sm_factions.txt" as attached file in KK's post?

    BTW I'm quite sure it's known but dwarven building descriptions are missing (feast hall and pub-like buildings), and Gimli is fighting with a one-hand axe (instead or two-handed axe or with an axe and shield).

    But these are minor bugs, not disturbing at all, IMO.

    in my campaign as High elves same problem...

    did battle for Moria once more and didn't sack the settlement, all buildings are there... (sacking the settlement seams to be the problem with unique buildings)
    also unique buildings can be destroyed by player, good thing would be if they are permanent (like roads)...

    I've found a minor bug where left over text from Scotland appears when using diplomacy with the dwarves. Not sure if it's hard-coded, and I can't remember the exact example, but I think it was something like "Scotland will thank ye" (written, not spoken, after a successful deal), as well as perhaps a couple of others.

    Orc archers dont have the new animations for bows. Pls give them all the new cool animation with the string and arrow .

    - Some ancilliaries contain spelling errors ( 2 words attached to each other etc. ) minor problem

    - Trolls don't get injured by stakes. Or is this how it was intended?

    Trolls are classed as Heavy Infantry not cavalry so stakes won't hurt them.
