Isengard won't die

Hey im playing with : High Elfs the long campaign , Together with rohan iv beated Isengard, and took all their regions,

The last remaining settlement of Isengard was in Fangorn, so i sieged the city with my 2 full stack armies, and attacked them. In fangorn they had: faction leader, faction heir, and 2 generals, and some other troops.

After a long battle they die

But it doesnt say Faction Destroyed or anything. so i used the toggle_fow cheat and saw that they didnt have any regions left !!?

How can they still be alive then :S??

Can any1 help me?

This was supposed to be fixed in 1.2 Nevertheless , post it in the bug/technical help thread .

Is there a cheat i can use to "kill" Isengard??

KK had uploaded a file that was changing that(look for "dying factions" thread) when this became a known bug for 1.1 version
If this bug hasn't been dealt with in 1.2 i assume the bugfix of 1.1. can do the work ...I actually still have it
Try to confirm that there is surely an "undying evil factions" bug(try to defeat another evil faction) and if yes download this
Allthough It's a bugfix for 1.1 i believe that it should do the work!

No, but due to a bug that had been occured in the former release (1.1)
all the evil factions weren't destroyed even if u conquered all of their regions,
and were only defeated when you exterminated them to the very last unit ...
The changelog of 1.2 says that this has been fixed in 1.2...
However desley noticed that isengard doesn' die ...
If so ... there is a link (look above) that can probably help ( i am not definitely sure about it though...)

i just destroyed OOTm i cheated the map nothing left not even a single unit an no faction destroyed

i just try the 1.1 fixe and it worked on 1.2

Just install 1.2 and you will never have the problem again

Strange I had old campain left with no hotfix I installed 1.2 and reopend the campain and got 2 faction destroyd messagesMaybe re-install will help.

Delsey, did you start a new campaign after installing 1.2, or did you load a previously saved 1.1 campaign?
