Okay, I think it's time we compiled everyone's favorite factions. There's been one of these threads if I remember correctly, but this can just serve to provide an idea of how it's changed.

Nords are cool, I love standing up to cavalry charges but for me its Khergits.
I love even more running rings round lumbering knights, picking them off.

swadia and khergits are good, especially in open field. Vaegirs are somewhat mediocre. Rhodoks, their top tier units are average. Nords are good all around though(in seiges they dominate)

I think it's pretty clear what faction is most liked.
I find it hilarious the Swadians come in 3rd, after being so glorified by so many players... And I resent the fact the Vaegirs are at a miserable 5th place... I like those guys.

Same here. I would put Vaegirs a close second. Best archers plus their knights are actually quite effective.

Definitely the Vaegirs, I'll never understand their apparent unpopularity. Admittedly there is no single area in which they are paramount: the Swadians have better cavalry, the Nords better infantry and the Rhodoks and Khergits better ranged troops, but as a combined armed force the Vaegirs are without equal IMO.

Conversely, I'll never understand the vast popularity of the Nords in M&B. I mean, the Rhodoks have no cavalry either, but at least their pikes and crossbows are clearly fielded with that weakness in mind. But someone who tries to take down armoured knights with an axe is just asking for it.
