@ gigantus : it was actually a workaround . I wanted some army to engage another army , but the first army was in a settlement , and apparently , engage_armies doesn't work in that case . So i just spawned a small army near the second army , let them engage , and the first army is a reinforcement![]()

yea , but i wanted to have the battle on a custom tile (the tile is 1 tile away from the settlement) , so i couldn't make it a siege battle (as i don't know how to add custom cities) , and i had to find another way ..
@ gigantus : Yep , afaik 'engage armies' requires the armies to be right next to eachother , otherwise you'll get an error in your log saying 'couldn't engage armies blahblah'
The army inside the settlement would have to be 1 tile away I'd presume.
Anyway yeah, there are multiple move commands, make sure you try them all out. There's 'move_character', there's 'move', there's 'reposition_character', etc.
