Haven't played too much yet with 1.2. ,the only thing I've received is a message that said the "One Ring is found by a General of the OotMM".

I was wondering the same thing. I'm assuming the wielder gets a stat buff but beyond that I dont know.

I'm drooling. The suck of working all of the time is that when patches like this come out, it takes me a while before I can really spend any time on it. I have no idea how KK juggles RL with the development of this thing. He must be a time management pro.

The idea of incorporating the one ring into the immersion is thrilling. I can't wait to encounter it.

Though doesnt the initial ownership of the one ring by the OMM really give them an advantage early?

No, i don't think you can, i've tried it when I was the Silvan Elves. All it does is make whoever is carrying it have some anncillaries and a very low loyalty. Hopefully they'll continue it in later patches.

You have to be lucky to find it, or you might get it killing the general carrying it....
and you cannot give it to sauron...but i agree, would be niceif we could add some nice things later, like destroying the ring, to give it to sauron -> sauron on the battlemap, lots of nice possibilities i think

How do you get the ring, since when I killed the enemy general who had it I didnt get it... And does the ring pop up more than once? Since after this the ring is gone..

What happen to me was one of the generals of OoMm had the ring and I went and took Moria and about 30 or so turns later my general sitting in Moria found the ring..Now maybe if the General who had it for OoMm died and the ring becomes lost again and somehow finds its way back to Moria..At least that is how I got it..And the OoMm were still very active so who knows...
